Tim Ferguson, Dead Eye Supply, was an elk guide in New Mexico for several years. While guiding, he ran into a videographer that was filming a tv show for NRA's American Hunter, Mike "Tater" Haviland.
Around the supper table one night, Tater was asked what his favorite kind of hunting was and he replied, turkey hunting!! Tim's eyes lit up!! It's kinda ironic that two "turkey crazy" fellas would meet up on a mountain in New Mexico.
Tim had been filming several of his hunts during the previous few years, basically out of necessity...He was trying to promote his Dead Eye Supply products. Tim & Tater started turkey hunting together and Tim finally asked Tater if he would compile a video of all the hunts that he had filmed over the past few years and put them all on one or two dvd's for personal use. Tater agreed and one thing led to another and the result was a full 60 minute "Turkey Crazy-Ain't Lookin' For No Cure" DVD!!
This DVD has everything from the early days of Tim's "school of hard knocks" to some award winning footage that the duo compiled together.
